Transfers to Weixin (WeChat) in China

When sending money to China via Weixin (WeChat) for the first time, please keep in mind the following:

1. Setting up WeRemit: Your recipient will get an SMS with a link for accepting the transfer. They will need to follow this link and set up the WeRemit mini-program located in Weixin (WeChat).
2. Linking a bank card: The recipient needs to link their bank card in WeRemit within 48 hours to avoid transfer cancellation.
3. Delivery time: It takes about 48 hours for the funds to appear in a Weixin (WeChat) account after a card is linked.
4. Getting help: Your recipient can contact WeRemit customer service to get help with the process.

In the future, the funds will be automatically transferred to the recipient's linked bank card, making the process much easier!
