Receiving cash via banks in Vietnam

To collect cash from a bank in Vietnam, recipients need to follow the steps below.

Answer a call from Vietcombank:

• After sending the transfer, be prepared to receive a call from a Vietcombank representative between 8am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.
• The representative will explain the collection process and provide a transaction code.

Visit the bank:

• Go to the bank branch with your ID card or passport for identification.
• Cash can be collected Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm.
• Show your ID and provide the transaction code to collect the cash.

Special instructions for Vietcombank pickup:

• If cash collection is arranged through Vietcombank, the recipient does not need to wait for a call from the bank representative. Instead, they can go directly to Vietcombank with their ID and transaction code.
• The sender will receive a transaction code when the payment is processed. This code should be given to the recipient.
