Paysend is growing globally. We are looking for a person to join as a Financial Analysis and Planning accountant to help develop our reporting and to provide meaningful financial information to the wider business.

What you’ll be doing:

• Preparation of daily gross margin reports
• Supporting the business with ad hoc reports
• Liaising with technology and assisting development of deeper MI
• Continued development of forecasting and insight tools
• Understand the drivers of margin movements
• Identify opportunities to improve revenue and cost margins
• Building and maintaining financial forecast modelling

What you’ll need to be successful in the role:

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or ICAS preferred)
• Several years dedicated experience in FP&A with a strong commercial focus
• Demonstrable strong ability to work on own initiative
• Comfortable working with big data sets to produce meaningful information
• Providing financial insights to senior management and product owners
• In depth Experience of working with complex financial models
• Written & oral communication
• Strong communication skills
• Keen to learn new knowledge and skills

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Advanced Excel skills are essential (preferably a working knowledge of Power Query)
• SQL and other data skills (Python etc) advantageous
• Fintech awareness
