Paysend response to Russia and Ukraine conflict

Paysend was founded 5 years ago to unite people through creating money for the future. We wanted to bring family and friends closer together even though they could be physically separated across the world.

The invasion of Ukraine brings a stark reality as to how difficult implementing such a simple concept can be.

Our deepest sympathies and thoughts are with the Ukrainian people and those affected.

Paysend is an international company that employs people from all over the world - including Russia and Ukraine - and we recognize the duty we have to ensure the safety and security of our employees, particularly those who are affected by the conflict. We are ensuring that those in the affected areas have the necessary support, communication and relief.

We also wanted to help those looking to aid those most in need - the people of Ukraine. The day the invasion started Paysend removed fees for any transfers globally to Ukraine so that more money got into the hands of the family member or friend who needed financial support.

In addition from today we will not charge any fees on any payments to the Red Cross. We want to support those on the ground, aiding individuals and families experiencing extreme hardships.

Paysend is committed to standing by those in distress and working towards a better future for all. Our platform will be open to everyone that needs to support others in their time of need. Uniting people may be difficult but we must all make the individual steps we can to keep the world moving in that direction.
