Interac e-Transfer to Canada

To receive an Interac e-Transfer, a beneficiary in Canada will be required to do the following:

Open the link for the Interac e-Transfer

An email with a link for the transfer will be sent to the recipient’s email address within a few of hours.

Note that the transfer will only be available for receiving within 48 hours.

Select a bank or credit union to deposit funds

It will be necessary to log in to online or mobile banking.

Over 250 Canadian banks and credit unions are supported.

Supported financial institutions

Enter a security code

It will be provided for sharing with the beneficiary once the transfer is sent.

With Interac e-Transfer Autodeposit activated by the recipient, you don’t have to rely on a security question and an answer to complete the transfer.
