Paysend opens for business in Canada!
Here at Paysend, we’re looking to take over the world. Not in a sinister, supervillain sort of way - our mission is focused on creating a better connected global community for everyone, no matter who they are or where they come from. To do this, we offer fast and cheap money transfers between 80+ countries.
We’re delighted to announce that Paysend is now available in the second-largest country in the world - Canada!
Where do people in Canada send their money?
People living and working in Canada send over $5 billion around the world every year. The top destinations for Canadian money are China, India and the Philippines, closely followed by France and Italy.
What makes Paysend different?
Traditional methods of money transfer involve long queues in banks, remittance shops and post offices. And when you finally get to the front of the line, you’ll have to pay high fees and deal with poor exchange rates. Paysend has decided to revolutionise how money is transferred around the world. Using the Paysend smartphone app you can send money directly to cards or bank accounts anywhere in the world for a flat, low fee.
How much does it cost to send money from Canada with Paysend?
Paysend charges a flat fee of just 3CAD for every international money transfer from Canada to any other country in the world. That means if you want to send $40, $400 or $4000 from Canada to China, it will always cost you just 3CAD.
When will my money reach its destination?
In most cases, money sent with Paysend will arrive in your recipient’s bank account or on their card within a few minutes of being sent. It can take up to three days if your recipient’s bank’s processing times are particularly slow, but there’s nothing we can do about that! Paysend will always aim to get your money where you want it to go as quickly as possible.
