What is proof of delivery and how to get it?

2024-08-23

Proof of delivery is a document or a reference number confirming the successful transfer of funds.

By providing you with the proof of delivery, our partners confirm that the funds have been successfully processed by Paysend and then delivered to the intended destination. You can then use this information to find the money at a bank or service provider if the transfer or refund is delayed.

How to get the proof of delivery?

If your transfer or refund was made to a bank card, you can find the proof of delivery in your Paysend account in the form of an RRN:

  1. Open the 'Transfers' tab in the Paysend app and find the transfer in question.
  2. Tap 'Help & More' in the top-right corner.
  3. Choose 'Proof of Delivery' or 'Proof of Refund'.
  4. Tap 'Copy RRN'.

In case your transfer or refund was made using other methods (for example, bank account or wallet), we recommend contacting Customer Support so we can look into it for you.

What is an RRN?

The Retrieval Reference Number (RRN) is a unique code that helps banks trace card transactions. It confirms that Paysend’s money transfer service has successfully delivered the payment to the receiving bank.
