We're making referrals more rewarding.

From 15 April to 31 May 2026, Paysend is running a referral promotion with bigger bonuses for existing users — and great perks for the friends they bring in.

Whether you're already using Paysend or you're joining for the first time via a friend's link, there's something in it for you.

Here's everything you need to know.

For existing Paysend users: Earn up to $250 USD

If you already use Paysend, this promotion is your chance to earn more just by sharing your referral link.

How the tiered rewards work:

When your friends sign up using your referral link and send money through Paysend, you earn a bonus. The more friends who qualify, the bigger your reward.

Qualified referrals

Your bonus

3 to 4$50 USD
5 to 9$100 USD
10 or more$250 USD

These rewards are on top of your standard referral bonuses.

What makes a referral "qualified"?

A friend counts as a qualified referral when they send a total of $100 USD or more through Paysend during the promotion period. They can reach that amount across one transfer or several — as long as the total hits $100 USD before 31 May 2026.

How to share your link:

  1. Open the Paysend app
  2. Go to the referral section
  3. Copy and share your personal link — via WhatsApp, text, email, or social media

The more people you bring in, the higher your bonus. Reaching the 10+ tier means you earn $250 USD in total bonuses.

For new users joining via a referral: Free transfers and a $5 USD bonus

If a friend has sent you their Paysend referral link, here's what you get when you sign up and start sending.

What's included:

  • First transfer — completely fee-free. No transfer fees on your very first send. A great way to try Paysend with no cost.
  • $5 USD Paysend Bonus — on your second transfer. Make a second transfer of $100 USD or more and we'll add a $5 USD Paysend Bonus to your account.

These benefits apply only when you join via a referral link during the promotion period.

How it all works — step by step

If you're referring friends:

  1. Share your referral link from the Paysend app
  2. Your friends sign up and start sending money
  3. Each friend who sends $100 USD+ in total = one qualified referral
  4. Hit 3, 5, or 10 qualified referrals to unlock your bonus tier

If you're joining via a referral link:

  1. Click your friend's referral link and sign up to Paysend
  2. Make your first transfer — it's fee-free
  3. Make a second transfer of $100 USD or more — get a $5 USD Paysend Bonus

Important dates

The promotion is live from 15 April 2026 to 31 May 2026. All referrals and transfers must happen within this window to count.

Don't leave it too late – the final push always matters.

Credit card to bank transfer: how it works, costs and speed

Here's the short answer: yes, you can use a credit card to get money into someone's bank account abroad. "Credit card to bank transfer" means exactly that — you fund the transfer with your credit card, and your recipient receives it in their bank account. Or on their card, in their wallet, or as cash to collect, depending on where they are.

The card and the bank account do different jobs. Your card pays for the transfer. A provider like Paysend then pays the money out through local systems on the other end. It's one flow, and it takes about a minute in the app.

One thing worth knowing before you start: a credit card is usually the most expensive way to fund a transfer. Some issuers treat it as a cash advance, and credit tends to carry higher payment fees than debit. You'll always see the full cost, exchange rate included, before you confirm anything. What follows is: the ways your money can arrive, what each one costs, how fast it gets there, and the cheaper routes worth checking first.

Meet Pavel Štich: Helping Czech and Slovak readers send money home

Every month, thousands of people working in the Czech Republic send part of their payday home — many of them Ukrainians supporting family across the border. And the traditional route makes it harder than it should be: bank wires that ask for IBANs and SWIFT codes, fees that only show up after the money's gone, and days of waiting while someone at home is counting on it.

Pavel Štich has spent years helping his readers solve exactly that. He's Co-Founder and Lead Financial Editor at Moneyo.cz, an independent Czech platform that compares money transfer services, stock brokers, and alternative investments — and a Paysend Ambassador, which means he tests what he recommends, explains it plainly, and brings his readers reader-only perks. We asked him how Moneyo started, who reads it, and why he chose Paysend.
