Every friend who joins through your link and completes a qualifying transfer earns you $6 instead of the usual $3, and the total you can earn across the month rises from $36 to $72. For the whole of August, every successful referral earns $6 instead of the usual $3. It's the same referral programme — the reward is just doubled for the month. There's no separate sign-up and no extra step to unlock the higher rate; it applies the moment a referral qualifies.

How the referral programme works

Getting $6 Paysend credited to your account is quick and easy, and takes just three steps.

Invite friends

Each Paysend customer gets one referral link, available in the app under the referral section. Sharing it takes seconds — copy the link, send it directly to a friend, or share it through social media or messaging apps. There's no limit on how many people you can send it to.

Once a friend receives the link, they follow it to download the Paysend app and create an account. The friend then needs to complete a qualifying transfer — sending money through Paysend at least once — before the referral counts as successful. 

Rewards usually land in-app within a short window of the qualifying transfer, though timing can vary slightly by market.

Why invite friends before the offer ends

Double rewards run only until 31 August. After that, rewards for inviting your friends and family to Paysend return to their standard rate, so referrals made earlier in the month earn the same doubled reward as those made on the last day, so make sure you lock in those referrals before the promotion closes.

The rewards depend on a completed qualifying transfer rather than just a sign-up, so timing matters. A friend who joins on 30 August but doesn't send money until September would fall outside the promotion window, and the referral would earn the standard $3 rather than $6.
