How to pay for my transfer using Interac?

If you’re based in Canada, you can easily pay for your transfer using Interac e-Transfer — a fast and secure way to send money directly from your bank account. Follow these steps to complete your payment:

Step 1. Start your transfer:

1. Go to the ‘Transfers’ section and tap ‘Send’.
2. Select the destination country and currency (options may vary depending on the country).
3. Choose how you’d like your recipient to receive the money (for example, card, bank, or wallet).
4. Enter your recipient’s full details carefully.

Step 2. Enter payment details:

1. Specify the amount you’d like to send or the amount your recipient should receive.
2. Select ‘Interac e-Transfer’ as your payment method.
3. Enter your email address, where we’ll send the Interac payment link.
4. Review all transfer details, then click ‘Confirm & Send’.

Step 3. Complete your payment:

1. You’ll receive a payment link by email shortly after setting up your transfer.
2. Open the email, choose your bank from the list, and confirm the payment in your online banking.
3. Payments may take up to 24 hours to complete, and you can track the status in your Paysend account.

Important details:

• You’ll need to complete the payment within 3 calendar days of receiving the link. After that, the transfer will be automatically declined.
• If needed, you can cancel the transfer using the cancellation link in your payment email.
• If your transfer shows ‘Payment failed’, your funds will be automatically refunded within 48 hours. If you don’t see the refund by then, please contact us so we can investigate.
