'Payment failed' status
Sometimes a payment doesn’t go through, even when everything looks right. If your transfer was cancelled, it simply means the payment couldn’t be processed. This might happen because:
- The transfer wasn’t confirmed in time.
- The 3D Secure (3DS) authorisation failed.
- Your bank declined our attempt to take the payment.
Try sending the transfer again, making sure the process isn’t interrupted and that your bank allows online payments. If the problem continues, you can use a different funding option — for example, another card or payment method.
What is 3DS authorisation?
3D Secure (3DS) is an extra security step that keeps your online money transfers safe. During payment, your bank may ask you to confirm the transaction by entering a one-time code sent to your phone.
If you don’t receive the code or the 3DS page doesn’t appear, contact your bank to check why the authorisation didn’t complete.
