My transfer is delayed. What should I do?
Most Paysend transfers are completed in seconds, but sometimes a recipient’s bank needs a little more time. Depending on the bank and country, an international money transfer can take up to 3 business days to arrive, especially around weekends or public holidays.
What you can do:
No action needed: If your transfer is still showing as “processing” or “successful” and it hasn’t been 3 business days yet, there’s no need to worry. It’s normal for some banks to take slightly longer to credit the funds.
Business days exclude weekends and public holidays.
Check with the recipient’s bank: The recipient can contact their bank directly to confirm when the money will appear in their account. Sometimes, banks hold online money transfers for additional checks.
After 3 business days: If your transfer still hasn’t arrived after this time, contact Paysend Customer Support and we’ll look into it for you.
Tips:
- Turn on push or email notifications to get instant updates on your transfer status.
- If a transfer fails, your funds will be automatically refunded, so there’s no need to request one.
