Quality requirements for identification documents

2022-07-26

Framing: Position the document in the center of the frame so that all its edges and corners are visible.

Document type: Take photos of both sides of the document, if it is double-sided.

Legibility: Make sure that nothing obstructs the data in the document; its content must be clearly visible. Look out for:

  • glares and poor lighting
  • watermarks (camera logo, capture date)
  • your hands, stickers, or other foreign objects.

Validity: It is important that the document is valid and can be used for verifying your identity. The document must be:

  • issued under your name
  • valid for at least a month after verification
  • issued in the registration country or internationally accepted (may vary based on your registration country).

Image quality: It is recommended that the photo is in high resolution with the file size of at least 500 KB.

Not accepted: We don't accept screenshots of identity documents for verification purposes.
