How can I cancel a transfer to a bank account?
It isn’t possible to cancel transfers that have been sent to bank accounts in the following regions:
- The European Economic Area (EEA)
- The United Kingdom
- The United States
- Canada (including transfers sent via Interac)
- Australia.
Once a transfer has been sent to one of these destinations, the funds are already being processed by the recipient’s bank and can’t be reversed.
If you’ve made a SWIFT transfer or a bank transfer to a country not listed above, please contact us so we can review your request. You can reach our team via chat in the app or by email at [email protected]. When contacting us, please include:
- a short explanation of why you’d like to cancel the transfer
- the phone number linked to your Paysend account (including country code)
- your first and last name
- your email address
- the transfer ID.
Once we receive your details, we’ll check the status of your transfer and let you know if cancellation is possible.
