I sent the wrong transfer amount

Once a transfer is confirmed, it's not always possible to change the amount or cancel it. Always double-check the recipient's details before sending.

Manual Bank Transfer (the UK or EEA)

If you're using Manual Bank Transfer and entered the wrong amount, here's what happens:

If you haven't sent the funds yet:

  1. Go to 'Transfers' and select the relevant transfer.
  2. Tap 'Help & More' and choose 'Cancel transfer'.

If you have already sent the incorrect amount:

  • The transfer will be declined automatically after 3 business days.
  • Once the status is updated, the funds will be returned to your bank account.
  • Typically, it takes up to 3 business days.
