How to pay with Interac for your transaction in Canada?
To send money from your bank account in Canada via Interac, please follow these simple steps below:
Initiate the payment:
- Navigate to the 'Transfers' section and click the 'Send' button.
- Select the destination country and the currency. Available currencies will depend on the specific destination country.
- Choose how to deliver your money transfer. This will vary based on the countries of sending and receiving.
- Enter the recipient’s details accurately.
Enter payment details:
- Specify either the amount you wish to send (on the left) or the amount the recipient should receive (on the right).
- Select 'Interac E-Transfer' as your payment method.
- Provide your email address where we will send an invitation link for the payment.
- Review all transfer details carefully.
- Click 'Confirm & Send' to proceed.
Finish your payment:
- Expect to receive the payment link via email within 24 hours.
- Once you received it, select your bank from the list provided in the email and confirm the transfer.
- The completion of the transfer may take up to 24 hours. You can track its status directly in your account.
- You must complete it within 48 hours of receiving the payment link. If not completed, the transfer will be automatically declined within 3-5 calendar days.
- If necessary, you can cancel the transfer by clicking on the cancellation link provided in the payment email.
