How to increase my top-up and ATM limits?
Paysend Cards & Accounts is no longer available to customers in the UK and EEA countries who registered with Paysend on or after 8 June, 2023. The following information applies only to customers who registered before 8 June, 2023.
To start using Paysend Cards & Accounts, you will need to verify your identity. Try opening a Paysend virtual card to initiate the verification process.
Identity verification:
To open a Paysend card or a multi-currency account, you will need to upload an identification document with a photo and take a photo of your face. The general list of accepted documents includes:
United Kingdom
- passport issued in the UK or any EEA country
- UK citizen card or ID card issued in any EEA country
- full driving license issued in the UK or any EEA country
- UK biometric residence permit
- international passport issued in any country along with a UK visa.
European Economic Area
- passport issued in any EEA country
- ID card issued in any EEA country
- driving license issued in any EEA country
- biometric residence permit issued in any EEA country
- international passport issued in any country along with an EEA visa.

Address and source of funds verification:
If you use up your top-up or ATM limits, you will have the option to increase them by responding to a small questionnaire and providing a document that verifies your residential address, and a bank statement confirming your source of income.

How long does it take?
On average, it takes from several minutes to a couple of hours to review your documents.

In case your data cannot be verified automatically, we will review it manually and send you an email with the verification results. We might also request additional information if the provided data is insufficient.

- Check your inbox for updates, including the 'Spam' and 'Promo' folders.
