Paysend Appoints Ben Chisell as Group CEO

London, UK, September 8th, 2025, Paysend, the global fintech innovator building the world’s largest cross-border digital payments network, today announced the appointment of Ben Chisell as the company’s new Group Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

Ben succeeds in this role after serving as President of Paysend, and will report into Executive Chairman and Co-Founder Abdul Abdulkerimov, working alongside Co-Founder Ronnie Millar. His appointment reflects a continued commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and customer-first leadership as Paysend enters a new phase of global expansion.

Ben brings two decades of product, scale-up and leadership experience across some of the world’s most respected fintech and technology companies. Before joining Paysend in 2021, he was VP of Product at OakNorth; and Product Director at Starling Bank. Earlier in his career, Ben held product leadership roles at Amazon and eBay, and began his journey in strategy consulting.

Ben’s deep expertise spans global payments, embedded finance, product-led growth, and scaling high-performing teams. His leadership comes at a pivotal time as Paysend continues to expand its Enterprise capabilities and strengthen its position as a trusted partner for institutions and consumers worldwide.
