How to verify my identity to receive Libre transfers?

Senders don't need to verify their identity specifically to send money using Paysend Libre.

Recipients can use Paysend Libre to receive their first payment as soon as they sign up with Paysend. To receive further payments, they will need to verify their identity by providing a valid identification document with a photo.

Before verifying identity:

• Maximum number of transfers: 1 transfer
• Maximum amount of one transfer: 150 USD*
• Total amount of transfers: 150 USD.

After verifying identity:

• Maximum number of transfers: 100 transfers
• Maximum amount of one transfer: 1000 USD
• Total amount of transfers: 15 000 USD.

These limits will be renewed every 3 months until the provided document expires.

*Or an equivalent amount in your local currency.

How to verify identity?

Once the initial Libre limit is used up, a recipient will get a notification with verification instructions.

What documents are accepted?

• international passport
• national ID card issued in the registration country
• driving license issued in the registration country
• biometric residence permit issued in the registration country.
