Security and safety
At Paysend, protecting your personal information and keeping your transfers safe is at the heart of everything we do. Here's how we protect your information and how you can keep your transactions secure.
🔐 We follow strict global standards to ensure your information stays private and secure.
All money transfers are certified by Visa, Mastercard, China UnionPay, the FCA and PCI DSS.
PCI DSS stands for Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. It's a set of rules that companies like us follow to ensure that your payment information is protected.
This set of certifications and rules helps us maintain bank-level security and keep your card details safe every time you make a transfer.
🤝 Safe interaction with Paysend Support
When you need to contact Customer Support, it's safe to provide:
- your mobile phone number
- transaction number
- your full name

These details help us assist you without compromising your security.
🛡️ Security tips for every day use:
- App and web: Log out of your Paysend account in your browser or close the app when you're not using it
- Passwords: Never share your passcode for accessing the Paysend app. The same goes for one-time passwords (OTPs) you receive via SMS. Our team will never ask you for these.
- SIM safety: Keep your SIM card secure. Your phone number is linked to your Paysend account and is a key part of keeping it safe.
