Paysend, the card-to-card pioneer and international payments platform, today announced that its U.S. customers can now send funds directly to eligible Mastercard cards in over 60 countries, including Mexico, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Honduras, El Salvador and Colombia, as well as within the U.S. Recipients will generally see the money appear on their cards within minutes. By leveraging Mastercard Send, a payments platform that enables people and organizations to send and receive money in near-real time, domestically and cross-border, Paysend is able to continue to make digital money transfers more widely available and accessible.
Transferring money internationally can be challenging and time-consuming with bank-to-bank transfers often taking multiple days, and fraud prevention and currency exchange adding further time and complexity to the money transfer process. Through working with Terrapay and MOVii, Paysend’s U.S. and European customers will be able to send money to friends and family in Colombia quickly, securely and conveniently.
Paysend, the card-to-card pioneer and international payments platform, today announces the company is expanding its peer-to-peer money transfer services globally. Through the implementation of Visa Direct[1], a real-time[2] push payment platform, Paysend’s U.S. customers will be able to send funds to eligible Visa cards in 107 countries and territories, while UK customers will be able to send funds to eligible Visa cards in up to 114 countries and territories globally.
